REVIEW || REVLON NAIL ART MOON CANDY
Just casually browsing around boots 'again' and i saw this on the revlon stands. The nail swatch that it had underneath this product really drawn me towards it. I like the packaging of it because it was nicely designed and looked nice and sleek. It retails for £7.99 in boots stores which is quite reasonable seeing that you get 2 nail polishes in 1 tube. One side was a deep ink blue colour and the other side was a pretty aqua colour with iridescent flecks of foils inside. I have used nail polishes like this before a couple years ago when Nails inc collaborated with Gossip girl (Reviewed here) and i loved the finish that it gave.
The blue nail polish was so pigmented and opaque and i was so surprised. It was probably one of the most pigmented nail polish i have used before which deserved a thumbs up. The formulation was very good, neither too gloopy or too runny. It easily gave me a nice even layer which dried alot faster than i expected! Next, i went to apply the amazing coat when the blue was dried. It was actually harder than expected to get the foil to evenly coat the nail rather than just chunks of the foil on one particular part of the nail~ but it's good that it generates a spontaneous look, making it more magical and amazing to look at.
The only downside to this nail polish is that the flecks of foil particles sometime sticks out and gets caught on things. I have applied a layer of clear nail polish to try and seal it, but it didn't really help that much. It didn't happen with my old Nails inc version i wasn't sure whether it was just this Revlon's version or my way of applying it. Regardless, it is an amazing polish to own and i am looking into purchasing more of these but in different colour. I've had alot of compliments on them already and they just add that extra sparkle to any outfit hehe <3

DIOR NAIL GLOW REVIEW
I picked this up a while ago, but never had the chance to properly go a review for you guys until now because i have been so busy with my studies and placement. I've always wanted to buy the Dior Lipglow but i am aware that i have too many lip products and maybe too many lipbalms, therefore i gave the Lipglow a miss but picked up the nail glow instead. The Nail polish retails for £18 which is quite steep for a nail polish in my opinion and equivalent to the Chanel nail polishes.
This polish promises to reveal the natural beauty of your nail whilst acting as a nail treatment to brighten your nails and whiten tips. As you can see from the photo above, it does give the nail a nice healthy glow when compared with the standard clear nail polishes. In addition, the brush is very wide so application was very easy and quick which is what i love about Dior nail polishes in general. The formulation is quite thin therefore dries very quickly!
I definitely recommend this product is you have the extra cash to spend because it is quite a cool product to have if you prefer the natural look on the nails. I am so happy that i purchased this and i know that i would use this quite often when i want to give my nails a break from all the bold colours i tend to use throughout the summer!

Product Fail || Models Own: Jade Stone
This is such a gorgeous nail polish colour. I love pastel colours and my favourite colour is green, therefore mint green colours always win my heart over. This colour caught my eyes on the shelves because it looks so perfect and definitely a colour that i would enjoy wearing! However, if you guys have been reading my blog for long enough, you should know that i dislike Models own formulations and i have an issue with their strong paint smell that it gives off everytime i use it, therefore i took a risk when i purchased this bottle.
The colour is really pretty indeed, but the formulation is very thick and gloopy making it very difficult to apply nicely. I used two layers to get an acceptable opaque layer as it was very streaky and hard to get a smooth finish all over. The nail polish took absolutely ages to dry and i am so annoyed with it because i really liked the colour of it. So, when it had finally dried, i have noticed that it had a lot of bubbles and the polish looked a bit bumpy which i wasn't happy about at all. I have had the nail polish on for several days and even without a topcoat, it hasn't chipped yet which is a positive point about this nail polish. I don't even know why Model's own polishes are so popular~? I admit that their shade range is pretty amazing and they always have the latest trends available, but the formulations are just awful. I'm never going to purchase another bottle no matter how pretty it may look in the bottle! Disappointing product.
Have you tried and Models own nail polishes?

~Chanel les vernis: Holiday REVIEW~
This is my second Chanel nail varnish purchase with the first being the amazing Peridot shade. I fell in love with this shade ever since i saw it alongside the summer collection which included another two shades which were limited edition. This 'Holiday' shade is fortunately in their permanent line now so it is always available for purchase. I have always wanted to find a reddish colour to wear on my nails that will suit my skin-tone as many reds out there either makes my skin look really horrible or it just looks like my nails are bleeding. Either way, this vibrant shade i guess is on the borderline of a bright tangerine and a red. It compliments my skin-tone very well and makes it look much more brighter which i like very much.
Not only is the colour amazing, it applied like a dream! Literally i fell in love and wondered why not all nail polishes would have the same formulation and ease of application. The formula was just the perfect consistency whereby it wasn't too think nor too runny which made the application process very smooth and entirely streak free. The product was highly pigmented and one coat was definitely enough to achieve an opaque finish (shown in picture). I wore this nail polish for just over a week now and it wasn't prone to chipping even without a top coat. This nail varnish is really impressive and it really lives up to the standards you expect seeing that the product is so expensive. I will sure be purchasing more shades to add to my collection soon because i love Chanel nail polishes so much <3

It has been a while since i did some shopping...but since i received an offer for the postgraduate course i wanted to do, i decided to spend some money to treat myself. - L'occitane Cherry princess Hand cream
- Revlon Colorstay 240 Amethyst
- Revlon Colorstay 200 stormy night
- Revlon Colorstay 050 Passionate Pink
- BarryM 333 Black Multi Glitter
- Chanel Nail colour: 617 Holiday
