THE BODY SHOP : WARMING MASK REVIEW

I got recommended this by a friend of mine and i was really intrigued by the fact that this mask is self warming which can probably open up my clogged up pores and give it a cleanse. The heat released from this mask is activated by water which is perfect for once you finish cleansing you skin and left with a nice damp face. The sensation of this is that the product initially gets quite hot but it is at a reasonable temperature to not feel uncomfortable. Rubbing the product into the skin really activated the heat but it is definitely not long lasting. So after covering the whole face, the novelty of the heat has gone and you just wait for around 10-15 minutes whilst relaxing and doing other stuff. I did find however that from time to time, the product was starting to drip as it is water activated therefore the formulation is quite wet and the mask doesn't dry like other masks does.

Overall, i think this mask is a little bit gimmicky as i don't see a difference between this mask and other ones. However, this is very gentle and pleasant to use so it is very suitable for people with sensitive skin that wants a little treat for the skin. For me, this didn't really do anything for my skin apart from leaving it feeling a little bit softer when i washed it off after and i have tried many better masks out there that gives effective results.

Have you tried any products from The body Shop?
