OOTN JANUARY 2014

I have come to realise that my blog is lacking some fashion posts. Although this is a beauty focused blog, i feel that i want to branch out into posting some lifestyle and fashion blog posts this year. For the weekend, i went out to town for a few drinks with some of my friends and instead of opting for my usual attire which consists of a bodycon dress of some sort and wedged heel~ i chose to go for something a little bit different. I think the yellow top is very pretty and adds a bit of colour as i try to transition from winter to spring time look.

Yellow Top - Dorothy Perkins
Black Skort - Zara
Navy Blazer - Zara
Watch - Michael Kors
Shoes - Jeffery Cambell Lita
Clutch - Louis Vuitton Eva

Have a great day Girlies :)

- Mini Clothing Haul in August -

Vest Top (Primark) // Skirt & Belt £12.99 (New Look)
Heart Boyfriend Tee (Primark) // Necklace (Mango Sale)
Simple Black Dress £9.99 (Newlook)
Three pack skinny bow belts £4.99 (Newlook)
I haven't been purchasing much clothes recently because there has been so many new summer make-up launches so i have been solely focusing on the make-up aspects rather than clothing since there is not many items that have caught my eyes. I prefer simple clothing that is also comfortable to wear and effortless to pair with anything to form an outfit. I have provided a few links to the items that i have purchased, but some of them i can't find on the website so i just stated which store i got it from so you can go check it out if you are interested! Hope you guys have a good day~ <3

What is your favourite clothing store?

~ My new Vivienne Westwood shoes :) ~

Vivienne Westwood for Melissa - Skyscraper Chain Strap Shoe - Black

"High heels in black by Vivienne Westwood for Melissa. Part of the Anglomania collection. Skyscraper heels in glossy, eco-friendly plastic with a gold toned chain strap featuring the iconic Westwood orb charm. 13cm heel."

It is only a couple of weeks away until my formal graduation day and i have purchased my dress and now a pair of shoes which i think will go well with it. I went to Oxford street Topshop the other day and i was browsing their shoes sections because i always adore their shoes there and  also because the sales were on and i was determined to find myself a bargain. I was amazed when i saw a rack that were selling my ever-lusted Vivienne westwood shoes! There were so many to choose from which included, flip-flops, pumps and heels. I dived straight into it and picked as many pairs that i liked as possible. After trying on a few and realising that some didn't look quite right on my feet, i settled with this one which i found to be quite simple and unique.  It was just a plain black mid-heeled shoe thats made out of its trademark gummy material and it had a detachable chain on it which gave it that extra edge.

Originally they were £190 but these beauties were on sale down to £115 so i just have to buy them no matter what. These are in a Size 3 and they fitted snuggly into my feel and were very comfortable which was surprising, seeing that i am usually a size 4 or 5 in heels. These shoes also came in a nude colour too which i really liked but it was a whole different story when i tried them on since it looked like i wasn't wearing anything and it was just too weird. The size of the heels are manageable and i think that it is perfect for my graduation to give me some height and sophistication to match with the event. I cannot weight to wear these out! They have amazing grip too so i am not afraid of slipping and falling over which is great as some new high heels i am so scared on the first wear because they tend to have minimal grip. Overall, i am extremely happy with the quality and style of these and i will be posting an outfit post soon wearing these. These are my favourite heels so far because they are so comfortable :)

What do you think of these? Would you buy them?

~ My new Ted Baker Shoes~

I have been in love with these shoes ever since they were released! However, during the past months i didn't purchase them just yet seeing that the weather was still quite cold and wet therefore these would not have been suitable at all. Recently there has been some wonderful weather and i thought that it was about time to cave in and buy these gorgeous cute pumps from Ted baker. As i was a student, i would be entitled to a 10% student discount at 'office' shoe store, but they never ever have my size in stock so i was a bit frustrated and disappointed every time. Then, after exams, my mummy and i went shopping and i walked into the actual Ted baker store and asked the sales assistant for my size and she immediately got a pair for me to try. It was all boxed up in this cute little plastic box and as i was trying them on, she told me that they smelt like watermelons too! To be honest, i didn't really want to sniff the shoe in public, therefore i just took her word for it. As you can see, they are a jelly-like material so they are insanely comfortable to wear and i just fell in love with them on my foot so i just had to purchase them. My mum was being generous and paid for them as a post-exam present which was very sweet for her.
So the shoes, they are quite low on the sides so if your not a fan of shoes like that, then this isn't for you. The bows at the front can twist and rotate-which can be a positive or a negative aspect i guess. The price it retails at is £45 which i think can be justifiable for the quality and the cute design of them, although i am sure you can find many similar dupes of these across the market. I am in love with the gold plaque at the back embossed with Ted Baker logo which adds a bit more luxury and elegance to the shoes. They are the most comfortable pumps i have worn and i am sure that they will look amazing in the summer when teamed with a cute summer dress or shorts. The only bad thing is that you really cannot wear black tights with these because they will look a little strange. They also do this shoe in several other colours - the white one looks really nice but i know that it will get dirty very quickly, therefore i opted for the safer option with the black colour. Soon, i am planning to invest in the flip-flops too because they are so pretty and cute!

What do you think of these shoes? Will you buy them?

~ Birthday OOTD + OOTN ~

So it was my birthday around a week ago on the 16th March and i can't believe i am 21 now! This number seems so scary to me since it reminds me that its about time i need to grow up and work on my life and future. My family and friends have spoilt me with cards and gifts that i love and wasn't expecting so i was very thankful. I thought that i would do a blogpost on my two outfits that i wore for my birthday celebrations.

-[Outfit Of The DAY]-
The first outfit i wore for going to dinner with my boyfriend and i thought i would keep it semi-casual as i didn't want to go overboard and it was relatively hot that day so i opted for a sleeveless top and a cute skirt which is sophisticated and has a touch of girlyness to it.
Top: River island (in stock now)
Skirt: River island (purchased last year)
Clutch: Louis Vuitton Multicolore zippy wallet
Boots: New look (Yes...i apologise that the picture chops my feet off)

- [Outfit Of The NIGHT] -
I went to a Club/Bar with a few of my close friends to celebrate my birthday and this time i chose to wear a dress which was more sophisticated and 'covered up' since normally i just go for strapless bodycon dresses. I am delighted with this dress and i may go back and purchase the other colours!
Dress: Jane Norman
Shoes: Office
Bracelet: Pandora
Camera: Samsung MV800

Thank you for reading and i hope you have a nice day <3
